{the renovation} DAY TEN!

Husband’s co-worker sent over another set of pictures of the house while we’re at the beach – I just can’t believe how much changes day to day!

Here are some more exterior shots, siding now covering repaired and insulated walls…

…of the back…

the back - ready to put in that door!

…and the side…

new insulation behind the tar paper

Inside they made more progress taking down a wall…

wall comin' down!

…and putting walls up…

lots of walls up!

The second bedroom wall is up (we decided to go ahead and move the kitchen), as is its closet and the master bedroom closet in the background, the laundry closet and office nook walls, and the hallway pass-throughs.

It’s going to be so different when we get home!

You are so good about blogging the progress. I’m very impressed. I was alway too exhausted during the construction process (not that I was hammering any nails, mind you), but the stress of it was intense. You make it look so easy! Kudos!

Thanks ADD! I knew if I didn’t record something the day of, I’d get behind (which I eventually did, darn vacation!). They were moving at lightning speed so it was hard to keep up! And the decisions – oh the decisions! – you’re definitely right, the stress was intense. But I’m so happy it’s almost done. :)
