So…last week ended up being really busy with work and life, so I didn’t get to follow up my first week of {one room three ways} with another set. I knew I was being a bit ambitious! I’ll still do three in a week, but can’t promise consecutive weeks at this point – fair? Okay, glad that’s settled.
If you remember from the last room done three ways (living room in french eclectic, beachy modern, and man room styles), I’ll be posting three different versions of the same room, carrying over two to three of the same items into each room. It just goes to show you that a piece of furniture, lighting, or textile doesn’t necessarily have to go in one style of room! – it can be used and re-used as your tastes and design trends change.
This week’s room done up three different ways is the all-important entryway! With it being the first thing people see when they enter your home, it’s meant to make a statement and set the tone for the rest of your home.
The carryover pieces for this week are this gorgeous console (with a gadget charge station in one of the drawers!) and the ever popular Philip Starke Ghost Chair, in green:
The style I chose for this week’s entryway done three ways was inspired by this amazing home office in Marrakesh, shared on one of my daily (and favorite) reads, decor8. I love the gray blue walls, the bright white and turquoise…and not to mention the views. (Make sure to visit and view all the pics – it’s quite a stunner!)
And so, inspired by that office, is a MODERN MOROCCAN ENTRYWAY (click the image to see a larger view):

My request is for a romantic/feminine entryway.
Oooh that’s a good one! Done and done. Can’t wait to get started! Thanks, L!
